Putney Dental Surgery Open for your Dental Care

We are back!

We are thrilled to confirm that the Australian Dental Association and AHPPC have agreed to lift dental practice restrictions to Level 1. This means that we are able to perform the entire range of dental procedures including important preventive measures such as cleaning and polishing. We are happy that once again we can see everyone at Putney Dental Surgery whilst being consistent with social distancing, screening checks and ever-present highest standards of sterilisation and infection control

Putney Dental Surgery has been adhering to Government guidelines during the Covid-19 pandemic, and the move to ease restrictions reflects the low risk of community transmission. Dr Patel will continue to monitor updates on outbreaks/clusters and local areas deemed to be at higher risk provided by NSW Government to manage high risk patients

As always, we practice high standards of infection control and will be continuing to ask screening questions before treating patients. Our reception staff will be busy in the coming days to contact those patients whose appointments were cancelled or put on hold in recent weeks.

Please be aware that social distancing and hand hygiene practice still applies in our reception areas.

We are thankful to our local community and our Putney Dental Surgery family for their understanding and continued support.

Putney Dental Surgery remains open and is responding to the Covid-19 scenario.

You may notice some changes to our procedures, but the fundamental high standard of infection control remains.

Extra measures include:

  • added screening questions for patients when making or confirming appointments
  • monitoring of all of our staff for any sign of illness
  • use of a mouth 1% Hydrogen peroxide rinse and temperature taking prior to dental procedures
  • directing patients to sanitise their hands before and after appointments
  • no magazines and toys in our reception area
  • modifying our reception spaces and encouraging people to wait outdoors where possible to ensure social distancing

We understand the concerns about Coronavirus will remain high and we will continue to maintain our high standard of infection control at our practice. Your safety and that of our staff are paramount.

You will be asked, or we may request to reschedule your non – urgent dental treatment if you.
